The University of Patras (UPAT), a core academic partner in the SAFeCRAFT project, will present key research contributions at the 8th International Conference on Engineering Against Failure (ICEAF VIII), taking place from 22 to 25 June 2025 in Kalamata, Greece.
ICEAF is a leading international forum that brings together experts in engineering, materials science, and sustainability to address the prevention and management of failure in industrial and infrastructure systems. This year’s conference emphasizes the integration of innovative design methodologies, sustainable practices, and cutting-edge technologies in sectors facing critical safety challenges.
Through the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, the University of Patras is contributing significantly to this mission by exploring advanced cryogenic engineering, lifecycle assessment, and sustainable materials for fuel storage systems.
