The Company’s common shares trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “SHIP”.

Universities

University of Strathclyde

Risk and Safety Assessment

University of Strathclyde is one of the largest departments in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Specialized in ship power systems and alternative marine fuels and safety evaluation of the onboard LH2 CCS for cargo leakage, fire/explosion. UoS contributes to risk assessment for the demonstrator/safety guidelines for handling NH3 or H2 storage and systems; lifecycle and cost assessment; support for auxiliary system design and Class AiP approval.

National Technical University of Athens

Analysis and Comparison of Alternative Systems

Participating with the Laboratory of Marine
Engineering, the Laboratory for Maritime Transport and the Shipbuilding Technology Laboratory, NTUA
contributes to many aspects of the project, such as model-based systems engineering studies, auxiliaries systems design, structural studies and techno-economic evaluations of the proposed solutions, both for the demonstrator and the desktop applications.

University of Patras

Smart digitalization process

Participating with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, UPAT has an extensive background in design of complex mechanical systems for various sectors with a.o. the aeronautics sector and recent focus in sustainable engineering. UPAT supports the Knowledge-Hub as a knowledge and technology transfer tool for novel materials and technologies to apply in the maritime sector.

Technische Universitaet Dresden

Evaluation of Alternative Systems and Administrative coordination

University of Excellence in materials science and research in Germany. TUD participates with three departments, European Project Center (EPC) is key player for administration and project management, Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) for multi-material design, Institute of Water Chemistry (IWC) for the investigation of environmental safety of LOHC.

Classification societies

RINA Services S.p.A.

Demonstration Implementation Plan

One of the major classification societies and a founding member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS). It provides a wide range of services, such as testing, certification, quality control, expediting and third-party inspection, involved in research projects related to sustainability, environmental regulations, alternative fuels and digital technologies. RINA will provide extensive knowledge of the maritime International Regulatory and Standards Framework and the certification will help the efforts in promoting H2 as a marine fuel.

ABS Hellenic SM LLC

Development of Technical Guidelines

One of the largest classification societies and member of IACS, with vast experience in design, construction, testing and/or classification and certification of solutions in marine/offshore related areas, including cargo containment systems, will review and issue AiP for the proposed H2 CCS concept and Handling and Distribution Systems, and General Approval for the proposed H2 Containment System.
