This innovative system is also expected to support some of the vessel’s propulsion needs, reducing dependence on traditional fuels. The project brings together an esteemed consortium of classification societies, equipment manufacturers, academic entities, and the European Union, highlighting a collective commitment to developing eco-friendly solutions for the existing fleet with immediate environmental benefits.
