We are delighted to share the highlights from SAFeCRAFT’s participation at the European Corner during ECOS2024, the 37th International Conference on Efficiency, Cost, Optimization, Simulation, and Environmental Impact of Energy Systems. Held in Rhodes Island, Greece, from June 30th to July 5th, 2024, this event provided an exceptional platform for presenting our cutting-edge advancements in sustainable maritime transport.
Represented by the National Technical University of Athens, the SAFeCRAFT project emphasizes environmental compliance, rigorous risk assessments, and regulatory proposals to support the adoption of Sustainable Alternative Fuels (SAFs). Our aim is to meet the FuelEU Maritime 2040 targets by significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting the use of sustainable fuels through robust dissemination and exploitation strategies.
Our presence at ECOS2024 was a tremendous success, providing invaluable opportunities for networking and collaboration. We extend our gratitude to all partners and attendees for their support and engagement.
