The engineering activities of T4.2, led by Hydrus Engineering S.A., have been focused mainly on the development of the basic design, which have been reviewed and approved design, towards the detailed 3d design and relevant production design package (technical specification), that will be used by the shipyard for completing the retrofit works. Subject documentation has been used for tendering purposes and will be the baseline for monitoring the jobs during the installation implementation. In addition, all comments received by the responsible plan approval experts of the demonstrator vessel’s registered Classification Society as well as the action list obtained from the operational hazards workshop (HAZOP) and the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) have been integrated into the documentation to enhance all safety aspects.
