The SAFeCRAFT project is pleased to announce its participation in the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, taking place from 18–21 May 2026 in Budapest, Hungary.
TRA 2026 is one of Europe’s leading meeting points for the transport research and innovation community, bringing together researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, innovators, and key stakeholders to exchange knowledge and explore solutions for the future of mobility.
Under this year’s theme, “Re-Generation in Transport”, the event will focus on accelerating the transition towards cleaner, safer, smarter, and more sustainable transport systems.
For SAFeCRAFT, participation in TRA 2026 represents an important opportunity to share the project’s progress in advancing the safe and efficient use of Sustainable Alternative Fuels (SAFs) in waterborne transport.
Through engineering design, safety assessment, digital tools, demonstrator activities, and cross-sector collaboration, SAFeCRAFT is contributing to the development of the next generation of sustainable maritime solutions.
Visitors will be able to find SAFeCRAFT at the WaterborneTP booth C13 in Hall G, where project representatives will be available to exchange ideas, discuss alternative fuels, and explore how innovation can support cleaner and safer maritime transport.
The SAFeCRAFT consortium looks forward to connecting with the wider transport community in Budapest and contributing to discussions on the future of sustainable waterborne transport.
