SAFeCRAFT Presented at SMM Hamburg 2026

The SAFeCRAFT project was presented at SMM Hamburg 2026 on the 1st of September 2026, during a dedicated session hosted at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Booth B3.EG.200 in Hamburg, Germany.

The presentation provided an opportunity to introduce SAFeCRAFT to the international maritime community and to share an overview of the project, its consortium and its ongoing activities towards supporting the safe and efficient uptake of sustainable marine fuels and next-generation power technologies.

During the session, participants were introduced to the project’s objectives, partner expertise and technical approach, including its work on alternative fuel and powertrain concepts and the assessment of solutions for future maritime applications.

The participation at SMM offered a valuable opportunity to increase the visibility of SAFeCRAFT and engage directly with maritime industry representatives, technology providers, classification societies, researchers and other stakeholders attending one of the sector’s leading international events.

SAFeCRAFT would like to thank American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for hosting the presentation and everyone who joined the session and expressed interest in the project.

The project looks forward to continuing the dialogue with the maritime community and sharing further developments as its activities progress.
