Task 6.1 Progress: Procurement and Deployment of Critical Components and Technologies

Task 6.1, led by HYDRUS Engineering S.A., is the management related task safeguarding that the retrofitting timeline, as initial identified in pre-feasibility stages and later enhanced and populated during the basic and detail design stages, along with the procurement of all required components is on schedule. Monthly meetings are held between the Coordinator and the Ship Owner to monitor the procurement plan and update the key milestone and delivery dates of equipment, components and Owner supply items. RFQ documents have been issued for the main components with the larger lead times, while simultaneously the witnessing of the Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) is currently ongoing, with members of the Consortium already attending three tests so far. The relevant department of SHIP is heavily involved at the moment to coordinate the logistic works and handle custom clearance where required.
