The first General Assembly (GA) meeting for the SAFeCRAFT project took place in Athens from 4th to 5th July, graciously hosted by our partner, Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp.
Over the course of the two-day meeting, our consortium members engaged in productive discussions and demonstrated active participation. Attendees received detailed updates on the progress of each work package, covering key developments and milestones achieved to date. This comprehensive overview ensured that all members are aligned and informed on the project’s developments.
In addition to the progress updates, two pivotal workshops were conducted:
H2 Decision and Gate Workshop: This session focused on critical decision points and reviews for hydrogen-related innovations within the project. Participants discussed strategic decisions, evaluated current data, and established next steps to ensure successful implementation and integration of hydrogen technologies.

Safety and Risk Assessment Workshop: This workshop emphasized the importance of safety protocols and risk management strategies. Consortium members collaborated on identifying potential risks, developing mitigation plans, and ensuring that safety remains a top priority throughout the project’s lifecycle.

The meeting also provided an invaluable opportunity for networking and fostering stronger collaborative relationships among consortium members. The diverse expertise and insights shared during these sessions are instrumental in driving the SAFeCRAFT project forward.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. for their exceptional welcome and support in accommodating this important event.
